Arsenal have had an €18million bid rejected by Valencia for German international defender Shkodran Mustafi, according to Spanish online sports publication Plaza Deportiva.
However, the publication states that sources in England have told them of the rejected offer, despite no media outlets in England running such a story.
Nevetheless, the outlet claims that talks between Arsenal and Valencia have nonetheless intensified over the 24 year old’s proposed move to the Emirates Stadium.
