Hoffenheim are interested in signing Jens Stage, but Clemens Fritz revealed that Werder Bremen have not yet received an offer for their top scorer.
“So far, we have not received any offers for players,” Fritz, Bremen’s sporting director, told DeichStube.
Stage has scored 10 goals and provided two assists in 26 Bundesliga appearances for Werder this term. Leading the club’s scoring charts, the Danish midfielder also finished 2024/25 as the club’s top scorer with 10 strikes.
Could Niclas Füllkrug return?
With squad planning for 2026/27 well under way, former striker Niclas Füllkrug is a name being linked with a return. However, SVW face competition from Wolfsburg to sign their former player, who is currently on loan at Milan from West Ham, where he has no future.
Sky Germany report that provided Wolfsburg avoid relegation, then the Lower Saxony club are favourites ahead of Bremen, with talks having already taken place.
