Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of Giannis Konstantelias from Greek side PAOK, the club has announced.
The attacking midfielder completed his medical last Sunday, with both clubs already in full agreement over the transfer.
The 23-year-old Greek International will sign a contract until 2030 and sign for a fee of €26m gauranteed, plus €6m in add-ons. The realistic package is expected to be closer to €30m and also includes a 15% sell-on clause.
The rapidity with which Dortmund have moved in this case is impressive. Get German Football News reported only last week that Dortmund had revived their interest in Konstantelias.
Upon signing for BVB, Konstantelias expressed his delight: “I am very much looking forward to playing for Borussia Dortmund in future. BVB is a great club and I will give my all to be successful here.”
