Jürgen Klopp to call up new players for upcoming UEFA Nations League

New German national team head coach Jürgen Klopp is expected to name fresh faces to the squad on Thursday ahead of the upcoming UEFA Nations League games.

According to Sky Germany, Klopp will assemble a large squad for the games. The 59-year-old coach wants to include as many players as possible, though the exact number has not been decided yet.

Among the players expected to receive a call-up is Cologne’s Said El Mala, who has recently extended his deal with the Billy Goats. Eintracht Frankfurt’s 23-year-old striker Younes Ebnoutalib is also expected to join the team.

Brentford’s Kevin Schade, who was not part of the World Cup squad, is another player set to participate in the Nations League. After impressing in La Liga following his summer move to Barcelona, Karim Adeyemi is also expected to join the national team. Bayern Munich’s Tom Bischof, Felix Keidel from Elversberg, and Yann Bisseck from Inter Milan are players who will be part of the national team, according to reports.

As the Klopp era at the national team begins, many believe that he will be able to solve the lingering issues that have seen the team drop out of World Cup competitions at an early stage.
