Scouts from Barcelona and Inter Milan watch Finn Jeltsch

Finn Jeltsch has been ever-present for VfB Stuttgart in 2026/27, after establishing himself in Sebastian Hoeneß’s squad last season. As such, the German youth international has naturally attracted attention from Europe’s biggest clubs.

According to a report by Sky Germany, scouts from both Barcelona and Inter Milan were in attendance at the UEFA Champions League match between Stuttgart and Norwegian outfit Viking last month to monitor the performance of the defender.

The 20-year-old centre-back has been garnering attention, with several, unnamed, Premier League clubs also monitoring the player, who is awaiting his senior Germany debut after being called up to Jürgen Klopp’s 44-man squad.

Declining to comment of scouting activities by other clubs, VfB sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth did, per Sky Germany, highlight the defender’s excellent development at the club, and emphasised his great potential.

Awarded the prestigious 2025 Fritz Walter Gold medal in the Under-19s category, Jeltsch is regarded as one of Germany’s leading defensive talents.
