Other Bundesliga clubs could hijack a move for Deniz Undav from VfB Stuttgart

Bild reports that while VfB Stuttgart will try to complete a permanent move for Deniz Undav, other Bundesliga clubs are monitoring the situation.

Stuttgart would only be able to afford a move for Undav if they secure Champions League qualification as the overall package including the transfer fee and player wages would be around €13-18m, which is currently too expensive. The good thing for Die Schwaben is the fact that they are closing in on Champions League qualification.

The bad thing is that other clubs are monitoring the situation. Several clubs from the Bundesliga and abroad have expressed their interest in Undav so if Stuttgart cannot facilitate a move then it is not out of the question that Undav will be in the Bundesliga again next season, just not at the MHP Arena.

Recently, Undav expressed his desire to stay at Stuttgart and negotiations between the two are set to begin in mid-April.
