Bundesliga Predictions | Round 19 - Leaders Bayer Leverkusen host Gladbach in Rhine derby

Manu’s Game of the Week: Stuttgart vs RB Leipzig

My match of the week is Stuttgart versus RB Leipzig. This is a battle of two top four sides that are yet to win a match in 2024. Leipzig lost 1-0 to Frankfurt and then 3-2 to Leverkusen. Stuttgart fell to Gladbach and then Bochum. With that in mind, both teams want to get the second half of the season going. But, in general, I am somewhat worried about Stuttgart without Serhou Guirassy. In fact, the Swabians are yet to win a game without their talisman striker and with that in mind, I think Leipzig are going to win this game on Saturday.

Stefan’s Game of the Week: Bayer Leverkusen vs Borussia Mönchengladbach

In German football every derby counts and when Leverkusen welcome Gladbach across the Rhine to the BayArena they’ll know that they’ll need to be at their very best to beat a Foals side that, despite last week’s defeat, have found their feet under new manager Gerardo Seone and will not only be looking to enact some revenge for the former Leverkusen head coach but also put a sizable dent in their rival’s title challenge. On paper this may look like an easy win for Xabi Alonso’s side, but in reality it should be a fantastic clash between two passionate teams.
