Brentford confident in signing Maximilian Beier as Ivan Toney replacement

Brentford are confident that they can land the signing of TSG Hoffenheim striker Maximilian Beier as Ivan Toney’s replacement, according to Christian Falk

With Toney likely to leave The Bees this summer, Brentford are already looking in the market to find a suitable replacement. The club have landed on Germany U21 international Beier, who is currently making a name for himself in the Bundesliga.

As per the report, Brentford remain very confident that they can get a deal done this summer, but also tested the water about a potential move this winter. However, any transfer for Beier will likely occur after the 23/24 season.

Brentford are willing to spend €30m on the striker, which would be just short of his release clause of €32m- this becomes active in the summer.

However, Beier will likely take his time in making his next career move as he’s aware of several Premier League clubs currently watching him. This includes Burnley, Everton, and Liverpool.
