As reported by Matteo Moretto, Borussia Dortmund are currently monitoring Çağlar Söyüncü’s situation at Atletico Madrid.
The former Freiburg defender moved to Leicester City nearly five years ago before switching to La Liga back in July 2023.
However, the Turkish international’s career in the Spanish capital has since stalled and is now open to a move elsewhere.
As per the report, FC Porto have already submitted a bid, whilst AS Roma and Borussia Dortmund are carefully monitoring the situation.
Though the momentum is clearly with Porto, BVB could tempt the player back to a league he knows and with regular football with Euro 2024 just around the corner.
Söyüncü himself would prefer a move back to England. However, it doesn’t appear a move this window to the Premier League will present itself. So far, there has been no interest from England’s top two divisions.
As per Transfermarkt, Söyüncü current market value is €12m. This could prove to be a bargain for an experienced international defender at 27 years old.
