Bayern Munich to make an approach for Sehrou Guirassy in the summer

Bild (via @iMiaSanMia)reports that Bayern Munich have decided they will make an approach for VfB Stuttgart striker Sehrou Guirassy in the summer.

Bayern see the €20m release clause for the 27-year-old as a bargain and they do not want to miss out on him in the summer. The only issue that could hinder a deal is if Guirassy wants to join the club whilst Harry Kane is there, as it will likely mean that he will be a backup.

The future of Guirassy is likely to be one of the big talking points of the Bundesliga this summer. Despite injuries and travelling to the Africa Cup of Nations, the 27-year-old is still second in the goalscoring rankings with 17 goals, seven behind Kane.

The Guinea international has attracted interest from several other clubs around Europe due to his ‘low’ release clause. Clubs such as Manchester United, AC Milan and Newcastle have all been reported as interested in Guirassy.

The striker decided to stay at Stuttgart in the winter as the club chases Champions League football.
