Germany U21 international Yann Aurel Bisseck is set to undergo a medical at Inter next week, according to Florian Plettenberg.
The Italian side will trigger the 22-year-old’s €7m release clause from Danish side Aarhus as soon as the medical has been completed. The central defender will sign a contract until June 2028. Eintracht Frankfurt were also interested in the youngster but were always behind Inter.
Bisseck was recently named as captain of the German U21 side ahead of this summer’s European championships in Georgia and Romania. However, it hasn’t gone according to plan for Bisseck and Co as they were knocked out at the group stages having failed to win any of their three games.
The defender played 33 times for Aarhus last season as the side finished 3rd in the top division of Danish football. Voted the best central defender in the league last season, it seems the youngster has a great future ahead of him.
