VfB Stuttgart interested in taking Malik Tillman on loan

Bild’s Bayern podcast “Bayern Insider” reports that VfB Stuttgart are interested in Bayern Munich forward Malik Tillman.

The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at Rangers in Scotland where he played 46 times scoring 12 and assisting five. It now looks likely that Tillman will get his chance in the Bundesliga with Stuttgart interested in bringing the forward to the club, likely on loan.

Tillman’s contract at Bayern expires next summer, so unless the club are willing to let the 21-year-old leave on a free transfer next year, then it would make more sense to either give him a contract extension if he is seen as part of the club’s future or sell him this summer.

According to transfermarkt, Tillman is currently valued at €5m, a transfer for the 21-year-old has previously been quoted at €6m

For Stuttgart, it is clear that they are refreshing their attack this summer. First, they made the loan of Sehrou Guirassy permanent before the end of the season. The club has also completed the signings of Woo-Yeong Jeong permanently from Freiburg as well as bringing Jamie Leweling on loan from Union Berlin.
