Troyes in discussions to sign Stuttgart attacker Alexis Tibidi

As reported by Kicker, Troyes are courting 19-year-old Stuttgart attacker Alexis Tibidi. Negotiations between both clubs are ongoing with a fee between €2m and €3m being suggested.

Tibidi is currently on loan with Altach and so a premature end to his loan in Austria must first be negotiated. Stuttgart will then likely use that money to fund a move for Wolfsburg’s Josuha Guilavogui.

The French youth international has scored five and created one in 16 Bundesliga games for Altach this season. Tibidi has also impressed at youth level for Stuttgart since his move from Toulouse in 2021. The 19-year-old scored four and created five in nine U19 Bundesliga games, and has also represented VfB’s first team under Pellegrino Matarazzo, before his dismissal.

Per Kicker’s report, Tibidi’s development at Altach has also resulted in other clubs showing an interest, but there are now concrete talks ongoing with Troyes. Tibidi has a contract with VfB until 2025.
