As reported by Florian Plettenberg, there is still no agreement between Tottenham and Bayern Munich regarding the transfer of Harry Kane.
After a new and improved offer had been sent to the English side prior to the weekend, Bayern were hoping to finally seal a deal for the England international. However, there has been no contact with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy over the last few days, as the Rekordmeister continue to wait for a response.
Despite speculation that the German champions had given Spurs a deadline to respond to their offer, this has now been denied. Bayern were, however, anticipating a response over the weekend.
Nevertheless, while Bayern wait to hear Levy’s decision, Kerry Hau of Sport1 has suggested that this will be the Rekordmeister’s final offer for Kane this summer. The Tottenham captain has alluded to Bayern that he would be open to joining the club next summer on a free transfer, but would prefer a move now.
Currently, there is little Bayern can do regarding Kane as they continue to be ignored. Despite this, there is still hope that Kane will be signed before DFL-Supercup against Leipzig on Saturday.
