Sadio Mané in negotiations with Al Nassr

Sadio Mané is in negotiations with Saudi Arabia side Al Nassr, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Bayern Munich player has come to terms with the fact that head coach Thomas Tuchel doesn’t have him in his plans for the upcoming season. The Senegalese international was hoping to stay with Bayern and play a role next campaign. However, Bayern have been actively trying to find a solution and part ways with the player.

Mané is now seriously considering a move to the Saudi Premier League, with Al Nassr pushing for his signature. The 31-year-old is currently negotiating contract terms with the side.

Mané arrived in Munich last year as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski. However, not being a traditional number 9, the forward struggled to fit into the role.

His time was then soured when he got into an altercation with fellow teammate Leroy Sané. It was reported that Mané pushed Sané in the lip after losing to Manchester City in the Champions League.

The player did apologise, but things were never quite the same after that.
