Real Madrid set transfer limit for Jude Bellingham

Real Madrid are determined not to pay over the odds for Borussia Dortmund and England start Jude Bellingham, Sport Bild cites Spanish outlet Marca.

Bellingham is top of Real’s wishlist this summer. However, they don’t want to get caught up in the excitement of purchasing him it seems. As per the report, the Spanish side will pay no more than €110m for the 19-year-old midfielder.

Though this is still a large sum, it may fall short of Dortmund’s evaluation of their key asset. Towards the end of last year, it was reported by Bild, that Borussia Dortmund would expect nothing less than €150m for Bellingham.

As well as Real Madrid, clubs such as Manchester City, Liverpool, and Manchester United have taken a keen interest in the England international.

Bellingham was a stand-out player for England en route to their quarter-finals loss to France, with the midfielder scoring against Iran and assisting against Senegal. For Dortmund, Bellingham has been one of the club’s stand-out players this season scoring three and assisting two in the Bundesliga, whilst also scoring four times in five Champions League games.
