Predicted Germany XI vs Colombia

Germany host Colombia at the Veltins-Arena on Tuesday night and after winning the treble at Manchester City, Ilkay Gündogan is expected to feature. Hansi Flick is still experimenting to find his best starting 11, but Chelsea’s Kai Havertz is expected to retain his place in attack.

Defensively, Flick has confirmed that Milan’s Malick Thiaw will play after impressing in his debut. After a defeat against Poland, Kicker suggest that Matthias Ginter could come in for Thilo Kehrer.

Gündogan is likely to partner Joshua Kimmich in midfield with Marius Wolf and Robin Gosens operating as wing-backs. Jamal Musiala should retain his place but Niclas Füllkrug, now Germany’s undisputed No. 9, could come back in for Florian Wirtz after starting on the bench against Poland.

Germany will be without Lukas Klostermann and Timo Werner.
