Predicted Borussia Dortmund XI vs RB Leipzig: Youssoufa Moukoko to return

Edin Terzic is expected to make three changes to his Borussia Dortmund team as they face RB Leipzig in the quarter-finals of the DFB Pokal.

Sébastien Haller is set to miss this game due to a knee injury he picked up during Dortmund’s 4-2 loss to Bayern Munich at the weekend. This could allow Youssoufa Moukoko to pick up his first start for Dortmund since their 2-1 win against Mainz back in January.

Karim Adeyemi was on the bench during the loss at the weekend, but he will miss this game through suspension after he picked up a red card in Dortmund’s 2-0 win against Hannover in the second round.

Defensively, Nico Schlotterbeck will miss the game through the thigh injury which caused him to be substituted off against Bayern at the weekend, Mats Hummels is likely to replace the 23-year-old. Raphaël Guerreiro could move back to left-back for this game as Julian Ryerson is rested.

For Leipzig, apart from Péter Gulácsi and Xaver Schlager who are long term absentees, Christopher Nkunku will miss the game as he recovers from a minor thigh injury he picked up the last time these two teams faced each other.
