Borussia Dortmund make the short journey to Bochum on Wednesday evening as they look to secure a place in the DFB Pokal Quarter-Final. Kick-off at the Ruhrstadion is 20:45 local time.
Edin Terzić will be without Karim Adeyemi, who set a Bundesliga top speed record against Freiburg on Saturday, after the German forward was sent off against Hannover in the previous round. Julian Ryerson however returns to the squad and is available following an illness. Terzić has plenty of options to keep things interesting.
One of those is Jamie Bynoe-Gittens. With Adeyemi suspended and Donyell Malen underperforming, Terzić may award the Englishman is third start of the season.
After scoring his first Borussia Dortmund goal at the weekend, Sébastien Haller is expected to keep his place in the starting XI, playing ahead of Julian Brandt and Marco Reus.
As well as Bynoe-Gittens, Mats Hummels, Gio Reyna, Mahmoud Dahoud, Youssoufa Moukoko and Salih Özcan all offer fresh legs in what’s a busy period following the winter break.
Predicted Borussia Dortmund XI vs Bochum
Gregor Kobel – Marius Wolf, Niklas Süle, Nico Schlotterbeck, Raphaël Guerreiro – Emre Can, Jude Bellingham – Julian Brandt, Marco Reus, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens – Sébastien Haller.
