Dayot Upamecano is available for selection again after serving a suspension following a red card against Borussia Mönchengladbach. That could see Julian Nagelsmann switch to a back three with the Frenchman playing alongside compatriot Benjamin Pavard and Dutchman Matthijs de Ligt.
That means we could see Kingsley Coman operating at wing-back, a role the Frenchman is becoming accustomed to whilst Alphonso Davies would play on the opposite flank. Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka will play in central-midfield with Jamal Musiala and Thomas Müller supporting Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, who has signed a contract extension.
