Khéphren Thuram is not a topic at Bayern Munich

Kicker reports that Nice midfielder Khéphren Thuram is not a topic at Bayern Munich this summer as they continue their search for a midfielder.

It was previously reported in French media outlets that Bayern Munich along with Liverpool were interested in Thuram, but Bayern are not interested in the 22-year-old.

Bayern continues their search for a midfielder who can complement Joshua Kimmich and provide more defensive cover to allow Kimmich to make the best of his attacking qualities. Thuram is the next name after Declan Rice, Ibrahim Sangaré, Kalvin Phillips and Frenkie de Jong who have all been linked to Bayern this summer.

Thuram is the brother of former Borussia Mönchengladbach striker Marcus and the son of World Cup champion Lilian Thuram. During his time in the south of France, Thuram has grown more as a player, last season the 22-year-old played 48 times for Nice.

The midfielder recently featured for France at the under-21 European Championships where they were knocked out in the quarter-finals against Ukraine.
