How Borussia Dortmund will celebrate if they win the Bundesliga

Borussia Dortmund have unveiled their plans should they win their first Bundesliga title since 2012.

If they win the Championship, the presentation will take place on the field and the club have called upon the fans to remain in their seats, rather than to invade the pitch.

On Sunday morning, the team will also write their names into the Golden Book of the City on Dortmund. And according to Kicker, at least 200,000 fans are expected to line the streets of Dortmund on Sunday for the victory parade, which will start at 12:00 CET.

The parade will start at the Westfalenhütte grounds and head towards Borsigplatz and after about four hours, reach its destination where the Hohe Wall intersects with Lange Straße.

Per Kicker, Borussia Dortmund received 800 accreditation applications for their game against Mainz – the Westfalenstadion has 192 press seats. The club also received more than 300,000 ticket requests over the last couple of days, which have been cancelled.

Because Borussia Dortmund failed to reach an agreement with Sky, there will be no public viewing of the game.

Should Borussia Dortmund beat Mainz, they will lift their first Meisterschale in 11 years.
