Hertha Berlin are set to sign exciting youngster Gustav Christensen from Danish side FC Midtjylland this summer, according to Kicker.
The 18-year-old has been a stand-out player for the U19s side. So far this season, the winger has scored a whopping 26 goals from just 16 league games. This includes five in one game against SönderjyskE U19s.
He has also had a taste of senior football with Midtjylland after appearing in the final few minutes of their Europa League match against Sturm Graz.
As per the report, Christensen will move to Hertha in the summer and build up from the academy before being introduced into the first team.
In the meantime, Hertha are fighting for Bundesliga survival. Following a draw on the weekend, the club currently sit 15th, just one point outside the relegation places. With just ten games remaining, perhaps Hertha will take a gamble on Christensen and hope that he can help the team remain in the top flight.
