Germany planning friendly against Ukraine

Germany are planning a friendly against Ukraine to mark their 1000th game as a national team in June, reports SportBuzzer

The location is unknown, but refugees from the war in Ukraine will be invited to the stadium and all proceeds from the game will be donated to war victims.

Germany are also set to play two friendlies against Mexico and the USA in October. Again, the location is currently unknown but they will play on the east coast of the US.

In January, the DFB announced that Germany would play two friendlies in March against Belgium (Cologne) and Peru (Mainz) as they begin their preparations for the Euros in 2024 which will be hosted in Germany.

Germany’s next competitive game will be when they open the Euros in Munich on the 14th of June. Their last competitive game was their 4-2 win against Costa Rica at World Cup where they were knocked out at the group stages.
