Full List | Hansi Flick announces Germany squad for March fixtures

Hansi Flick has announced the 24-man Germany squad that will kick off their preparations for the European Championships next year in Germany. Flick has provided a shake-up to the national team with call-ups for Mergim Berisha, Marius Wolf, Joshua Vagnoman, Kevin Schade and Felix Nmecha.

The biggest news is the names left out of the squad with the likes of İlkay Gündoğan (Manchester City), Antonio Rüdiger (Real Madrid), Thomas Müller, Leroy Sané (Bayern Munich), Jonas Hofmann (Borussia Mönchengladbach) and Niklas Süle (Dortmund) all missing out for a variety of reasons.

The absence of Manuel Neuer through injury will also provide a chance for another goalkeeper to stake their claim as the number one, as the 36-year-old has been undisputed for over 13 years.

Germany will play against Peru in Mainz on the 25th March and Belgium in Köln on the 28th.
