Bundesliga Team of the Week | Round 14

This week in the Bundesliga we saw more twists and turns in an interesting title race and some more shock results. Here is the Team of the Week for round 14.

Formation : 4-4-2

Goalkeeper: Lukáš Hrádecký – Bayer Leverkusen

Saved Bayer Leverkusen from losing the game with nine saves and prevented 1.5 goals.

Left Back: David Raum – RB Leipzig

A solid all round display from Raum and he was a useful attacking outlet for Leipzig.

Centre Back: Patrick Mainka – Heidenheim

Scored two goals for Heidenheim with two impressive headers from set pieces.

Centre Back: Edmond Tapsoba – Bayer Leverkusen

Produced a solid defensive performance and made four clearances including one off the line to help earn his side a point.

Right Back: Josip Juranović – Union Berlin

Played an important part in a much needed win for Union Berlin and created chances from the right hand side with three key passes. 

Left Midfield: Chris Führich – Stuttgart

Scored an important goal for Stuttgart and could’ve had more or even a few assists if him and his side were more clinical. Was a big threat throughout. 

Centre Midfield: Florian Wirtz – Bayer Leverkusen 

A great technical display from the 20 year old and even finished off a great team goal to level the match. 

Centre Midfield: Jan-Niklas Beste – Heidenheim

Assisted all three of Hedidenheim’s goals with his excellent deliveries from set pieces.

Right Midfield: Junior Dina Ebimbe -Eintracht Frankfurt 

Put two goals past Bayern Munich with a lovely piece of skill for the first goal and then made a sharp run through the middle to finish the game off with a clinical strike. 

Striker: Marvin Ducksch – Werder Bremen 

Scored a goal and provided an assist for Bremen in an important victory with his goal being a bullet header that gave the goalkeeper no chance.

Striker: Omar Marmoush – Eintracht Frankfurt

Scored a goal and provided two assists against Bayern Munich. His runs in behind and pressing put the Bayern defence under constant pressure.
