Bayern Munich predicted XI vs Augsburg: Jamal Musiala injured, Thomas Müller to start

Harry Kane will make his home Bundesliga debut for Bayern Munich later today, with Thomas Müller coming in for the injured Jamal Musiala.

The Rekordmeister will be looking to make it two wins from two to start their Bundesliga campaign but face a difficult task against Augsburg, a team they conceded four goals against in two league games last season.

Sven Ulreich will remain Bayern Munich’s No. 1 until the return of Manuel Neuer, while Thomas Tuchel is expected to name the same starting XI that started against Werder Bremen last weekend. Daniel Peretz completed his move to Bayern on Friday and will be in the squad.

The big news coming out of the club this week is the injury to Musiala. The 20-year-old suffered a hamstring injury during training on Wednesday and is unlikely to feature for the club again before the international break. That means a probable start for Müller, while Serge Gnabry is expected to return to the squad after missing last week’s game through injury.

With a goal and assist last weekend, Kane is also expected to lead the line.

Predicted Bayern Munich XI vs Augsburg

Sven Ulreich – Noussair Mazraoui, Dayot Upamecano, Kim Min-jae, Alphonso Davies – Leon Goretzka, Joshua Kimmich – Leroy Sané, Thomas Müller, Kingsley Coman – Harry Kane.
