According to Sport1, Feyenoord manager Arne Slot is a candidate to replace the departing Oliver Glasner at Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer.
Slot has shown that he can improve teams tactically as well as develop players. During his time with Feyenoord, Slot has led them to a UEFA Conference League final, the quarter-finals in the Europa League and this season they are on the brink of winning the Eredivisie title.
However, Slot’s contract at Feyenoord is until 2025 and he could prove to be too expensive for Frankfurt as Premier League clubs are also interested in the 44-year-old.
Other candidates for the job are Dino Toppmöller, who was an assistant to Julian Nagelsmann’s, and is reportedly high on sporting director Markus Krösche’s list of candidates. Krösche has also met with current Red Bull Salzburg manager Matthias Jaissle over a possible change.
Both managers, like Slot, have the ability to develop young players which is important to Frankfurt with the likes of Junior Dina Ebimbe, Faride Alidou and Paxten Aaronson in their ranks.
