AC Milan enter race to sign VfB Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy

AC Milan have entered the race to sign VfB Stuttgart forward Serhou Guirassy, SportBild cites Gazzetta dello Sport.

As per the report, the Italian giants are big fans of the Guinean international. Additionally, just like many other European teams, they are attracted by the low-release clause of €17.5m.

Milan are currently looking at the transfer market for a replacement for Olivier Giroud (37). As of now, Former Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jović and Noah Okfafo are currently acting as back-up for the 2018 French world champion. However, between both of them, they have only scored two goals.

In a recent interview with ESPN, Guirassy has left his future open: “Things can happen quickly in football. I am here, my focus is here. But no one knows what will happen in January.”

However, the report from Gazzetta dello Sport indicated that the most likely outcome is that Guirassy will stay at Stuttgart for the remainder of the season.
