Stuttgart seek €20m-€25m for Bayern Munich and Manchester City target Borna Sosa

Bayern Munich are looking for a successor to Omar Richards following his move to Nottingham Forest. According to Bild, Stuttgart’s Borna Sosa (24) is a desired target – the Croatia international would be allowed to leave for between €20m and €25m despite three-years remaining on his current deal.

Manchester City and Barcelona have both shown interest in signing Sosa, who joined Stuttgart from Dinamo Zagreb in 2018 for €6m – the Croatian has created 19 goals from left-back in 66 Bundesliga games for Stuttgart.

As Bayern search for a successor to Richards and competition for Alphonso Davies, Hoffenheim’s David Raum (24) is also a name that has been discussed. However, with four-years remaining on his current deal, TSG have no intention of selling Raum for anything less than €40m this summer, with his exit clause of a reported €30m not coming into play until 2023 – the German is in demand this summer with interest also from the Premier League.

However, Bayern Munich could take advantage of Hoffenheim’s interest in Chris Richards and use the American defender as a makeweight in a deal for Raum.
