PLAYER RATINGS | Bayern Munich 2-2 Stuttgart: Matthijs de Ligt concedes late penalty as Serhou Guirassy converts

Deadline day signing Serhou Guirassy secured a point in stoppage time for Stuttgart against Bayern Munich on Saturday afternoon after the Frenchman converted a penalty conceded by Matthijs de Ligt.

Mathys Tel opened the scoring after 36 minutes, becoming Bayern Munich’s youngest goalscorer in the Bundesliga. The Frenchman found space inside the area and oozed confidence, hitting a left-footed shot past Florian Müller without taking a touch to set the ball.

Chris Führich equalised for Stuttgart after 57 minutes moments after Guirassy thought he equalised only for his effort to be ruled out by VAR due to a foul on Joshua Kimmich in the build-up. Jamal Musiala gave Bayern the lead on the hour mark and Stuttgart thought they had equalised again, Guirassy again scoring but again the Frenchman seeing his goal ruled out for a foul.

The former Cologne and Rennes forward’s persistence paid off as his first touch inside the area drew a foul from De Ligt, the Dutchman conceding a penalty which Guirassy dispatched, earning a point for Stuttgart as Bayern pick up their third successive draw.
