Patrik Schick to stay at Bayer Leverkusen

Speaking in an interview with Sky Germany, Bayer Leverkusen CEO Fernando Carro has ruled out the departure of 26-year-old Patrik Schick amid interest in the Czech forward.

“No, we’re not going to sell Patrik Schick, so there is no need to talk at all” said Carro. “Patrik Schick feels very comfortable with us. We count on him in planning for the next few years.”

Schick completed team training with Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday after missing the last four Bundesliga games through injury. The 26-year-old has scored 20 league goals in 20 games this season.
