Orel Mangala expected to leave Stuttgart but nothing concrete so far

Alongside Saša Kalajdžić and Borna Sosa, Stuttgart’s Orel Mangala (24) is one of the most attractive VfB players on the transfer market this summer, according to Kicker. But so far, there’s been nothing concrete in terms of initial talks or any offers.

It was reported in June that newly-promoted Premier League side Nottingham Forest has shown interest in signing Mangala but so far, nothing has come of it.

The Belgian midfielder has two-years remaining on his current deal and per Stuttgarter Nachrichten, Stuttgart may be willing to sell should they receive an offer of around €20m.

Sosa (24) is also a candidate to leave Stuttgart this summer. BILD reported on Monday morning that VfB would allow the Croatian to leave if they receive an offer between €20m and €25m but like Kalajdžić and Mangala, so far there’s been nothing concrete, despite interest from Manchester City and Bayern Munich.

Mangala joined Stuttgart for €2m from Anderlecht in 2017 and spent the 2018/19 season on loan at Hamburg. The now Belgium international has played 109 games across all competitions for VfB.
