Oliver Glasner: “You have these emotional highlights in sport. You can’t buy them with any money in the world.”

Speaking to RTL after Eintracht Frankfurt’s 3-2 win against Barcelona at Camp Now, taking them into the Europa League semi-final, head coach Oliver Glasner commended the performance of his players.

“To progress at Camp Nou is extraordinary. There aren’t many teams that win here. Huge compliments to the boys. You have these emotional highlights in sport, in football. You can’t buy them with any money in the world – and that’s wonderful.”

Filip Kostić opened the scoring from the penalty spot four minutes in before Rafael Borré gave Eintracht a 2-0 lead with a goal from 30 yards. Kostić then made it 3-0 on the night with 20 minutes left to play.

Goals from Sergio Busquets and Memphis Depay in stoppage time was unable to prevent Eintracht from advancing.
