Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich yesterday announced the contract extension of goalkeeper Sven Ulreich until 2023.
“I enjoy the task behind a world class goalkeeper like Manuel Neuer,” said Ulreich. “We have a friendly, collegial relationship with each other.”
Sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic added: “We’re happy that Sven is staying at Bayern for another year. He fits perfectly into our group with his character and mentality. Sven has an excellent understanding of his role and is always there when you need him.”
Ulreich (33), re-joined Bayern Munich last summer after spending one year at Hamburg.
