Official | Iker Bravo joins Real Madrid

Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen have today announced the departure of Iker Bravo (17) on a season-long loan to Champions League winners Real Madrid.

The Spanish youth international only joined Bayer Leverkusen from Barcelona last summer but has struggled to settle in Germany. Atlético Madrid showed an interest in signing Bravo, who scored four and created three in 12 games in the U19 Bundesliga West last season and also played 11 minutes for B04 in the Bundesliga and 13 in the DFB Pokal.

Although Bayer Leverkusen didn’t report whether a purchase option was included in the deal, reports suggest that Real Madrid have a €7m buy option.

B04 have had a relatively quiet transfer window with the arrival of Adam Hložek (20) from Sparta Prague for €13m their only arrival so far. Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi is currently undergoing a medical and is expected to join on a season-long loan, but Die Werkself could yet bring in a left-back and midfielder.
