Jayden Braaf to rediscover his potential in the 3. Liga with Borussia Dortmund II

When Borussia Dortmund signed Manchester City starlet Jayden Braaf (19), they knew they had a good prospect on their hands, according to Kicker

The 19-year-old first caught the attention of BVB and others when he was just 17-year-old playing in the Premier League U23s where he scored 9 goals.

The young Dutchman spent the last year at Italian side Udinese but struggled for playing time.

In total, Braaf scored one goal in just four appearances.

His lack of playing time was also due to injuries picked up throughout the campaign.

Braaf will team up with Dortmund’s second team in the 3. Liga which begins this weekend.

The forward had been criticized in regards to his attitude in recent seasons. However, BVB believes in the youngster and will help him in “finding back his old strength and establishing himself in men’s football” according to sporting director Sebastian Kehl.

The 3. Liga could be the ideal setting for Braaf to get regular playing time against tough opposition.

Dortmund clearly believes the striker has a future with the first team if he sticks to the task.
