Contrary to reports in Poland, Robert Lewandowski has not agreed a move to Barcelona with a decision to be made on his future after contract talks with Bayern Munich, according to Sport1.
Pini Zahavi is in discussions with other clubs, one being Barcelona but per the report, Lewandowski hasn’t even asked for approval from Bayern Munich for a summer transfer.
The 33-year-old has a contract until 2023 and will make a decision on his future once extension talks have taken place, which should be by the end of the season.
Bayern Munich would only agree to a transfer should they find a suitable replacement. If they don’t, club bosses would allow Lewandowski to enter the final year of his contract but there’s a risk that the Poland international would then leave on a free transfer in 2023.
