Marcus Thuram and Borussia Mönchengladbach could work together until the summer

As reported by Bild, Marcus Thuram and Borussia Mönchengladbach can imagine working together until the summer with his contract also expiring then.

Both Thuram and Gladbach see a benefit from them working together until the summer, as Thuram wants to compete for Bundesliga top goal scorer and him leaving as a free agent means he could get a better contract at his new club. Gladbach also believes that the Frenchman can help them qualify for the Europa League.

However, Thuram would be open to a winter transfer if it was to one of his four ‘dream’ clubs. Those are Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain. Clubs such as Newcastle and Aston Villa are not attractive to him.

This season, Thuram has experienced a revival in his form, scoring 10 goals in the first half of the season, which puts him second his the goal-scoring chart joint with Niclas Füllkrug and two behind Christopher Nkunku. Last season, Thuram scored just three goals in 21 games.
