Marco Rose to remain Borussia Dortmund head coach

Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has confirmed that Marco Rose will continue as head coach.

When asked whether Rose will 100% remain the coach, Watzke told Sky Germany: “Yes, because he does a good job, we want to have continuity in that position and we’re happy with him. That’s very simple. We’ve said it often enough.”

Rose made the switch from Borussia Mönchengladbach to Borussia Dortmund last summer with his current side sitting second in the Bundesliga, six points behind leaders Bayern Munich.

The 45-year-old has come in for some criticism given their six league defeats but BVB have had injuries to contend with. Going forward, the Westfalen outfit want continuity.
