Speaking to the DFB, Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has reacted to the 2022 World Cup draw that will see them play Spain, Japan and one of Costa Rica or New Zealand at this year’s tournament.
“It was clear that we would get a strong opponent from pot one. We have negative memories of Spain, but that doesn’t happen to us twice. We’re in good spirits to play a successful tournament.”
