Kingsley Coman resumes training, Thomas Müller could return on Tuesday

Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman returned to team training on Wednesday after suffering a calf injury in the first-leg of the Champions League clash against RB Salzburg.

The Frenchman missed Bayern’s 4-1 win against Greuther Fürth at the weekend.

After testing positive for Covid-19 for a second time, Thomas Müller will miss Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga game against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday but can return to training next Tuesday.

Per Kicker, Manuel Neuer is also expected to return to specific goalkeeper training in the coming week and could make the Bundesliga game against Union Berlin on March 19th.

Alphonso Davies will also undergo further medical checks on Friday ahead of a potential return to training after the Bayern detected signs of heart muscle inflammation.

Corentin Tolisso will also be out for around three weeks.
