As reported by Fabrizio Romano and Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus have submitted an offer of €7m including bonuses to Borussia Mönchengladbach for the transfer of central-midfielder Denis Zakaria.
Kicker have since confirmed the same information, adding further that Gladbach would allow the 25-year-old to depart the Bundesliga club before Monday’s deadline to avoid losing out on a transfer fee.
Zakaria has just six months remaining on his current deal and it’s already been confirmed that he, and Matthias Ginter, will both leave Borussia Mönchengladbach, if not this month, then when their contracts expire.
With Marvin Friedrich arriving at Gladbach from Union Berlin this month, it’s unclear as to whether Die Fohlen will have the funds to sign a replacement for Zakaria.
