Jamie Bynoe-Gittens to sign Borussia Dortmund contract extension at 18

According to Sport1, 17-year-old Jamie Bynoe-Gittens will see his contract extended by three-years until 2025 on August 8, the English winger’s 18th birthday.

Bynoe-Gittens is already seen as a successor to Jadon Sancho, who joined Manchester United last summer. BVB have already taken the necessary precautions and worked out a contract extension with the Englishman and his entourage.

Arriving from Manchester City in 2020 on a free transfer, Bynoe-Gittens spent the 2020/21 season with BVB’s youth squad but was given an opportunity to train with the first team last season. The Englishman impressed and was awarded his Bundesliga debut by Marco Rose in a 6-1 win against Wolfsburg on April 16.

Bynoe-Gittens impressed in the UEFA Youth League last season, scoring six in five games, adding to his tally of five goals and five assists in 15 games for Borussia Dortmund U19s.

This season, Bynoe-Gittens is expected to continue to train with the first team and provide squad depth.
