According to Kicker, Hoffenheim are hoping to strengthen their backline with the signing of central-defender Marton Dardai from Hertha BSC.
The 20-year-old German U21 international is a native of Berlin and is currently under contract with Hertha until 2025.
In recent weeks, Hoffenheim head coach Sebastian Hoeneß has explained his urgent need for more quality defenders, especially with a number of players exiting the door this summer
Hoeneß’ side will be without Florian Grillitsch, Chris Richards and Havard Nordtveit for the upcoming campaign. There is also the possibility of David Raum leaving especially with Hoffenheim not achieving European football for next season.
Dardai would certainly strengthen Hoffenheim and still has room for development.
