Bayern Munich to submit a third offer for Sadio Mané

Bayern Munich will submit a third and perhaps final offer to Liverpool for Sadio Mané. The Bundesliga side are expected to offer an initial €35m plus a further €5m in bonuses. An agreement could be reached by the end of the week. Liverpool have lowered their asking price for the Senegalese international, who wants to join Bayern as he enters the final year of his contract at the Premier League club. Mané will sign a three-year deal.

FC Köln have signed Steffen Tigges (23) from Borussia Dortmund

Steffen Tigges has signed a four-year deal at the club until 2026 and has cost around €3m. The 23-year-old struggled for playing time at BVB but will now have the chance to impress in the Cathedral City under head coach Steffen Baumgart. Tigges’ time at Dortmund was spent mostly with the U23s in the Regionalliga and 3. Liga. However, last season the forward appeared nine times in the Bundesliga and scored three goals, one coming against his new employer.

Atlético Madrid and others interested in Hertha Berlin defender Omar Alderete

Last season, the 25-year-old was on loan at Valencia, who have opted not to activate their option to buy clause of €7.5m. The club would be interested in purchasing the Paraguayan international if the transfer fee was less. Other interested clubs include Villarreal, Atlético Madrid as well as Italian outfit Fiorentina.

Union Berlin sign Bochum’s Miloš Pantović (25) on a free transfer

Union Berlin have signed their sixth player of this summer’s transfer window as Miloš Pantović joins on a free transfer from Bochum. Pantović joined Bochum back in 2018 and made over 100 appearances for the club both in the 2. Bundesliga and most recently the Bundesliga. Perhaps his most memorable moment from the last campaign was the goal he scored on matchday 11 against Hoffenheim when he netted from 66 metres to make it 2-0.

Hertha Berlin sign Jonjoe Kenny

Hertha Berlin have today announced the signing of Jonjoe Kenny on a free transfer. The 25-year-old defender joins the Bundesliga club after his contract with Everton expired. Kenny has signed a three-year deal until 2025. The Englishman spent the 2019/20 season on loan at Schalke and will add vital experience to Hertha’s defence.

Borussia Dortmund to open contract extension talks with Mahmoud Dahoud

As Mahmoud Dahoud enters the final year of his contract, Borussia Dortmund are expected to open contract extension talks with the 26-year-old. Dahoud feels comfortable in Dortmund and an agreement is expected to be reached to extend the contract beyond 2023. Dahoud excelled under Edin Terzić during his interim spell as head coach.

West Ham United show interest in Hertha Berlin defender Jordan Torunarigha

Hertha Berlin have rejected a reported €2m offer from KAA Gent for defender Jordan Torunarigha. Premier League side West Ham have shown an interest in signing the 24-year-old, but also face competition from Wolfsburg.

In other news, Bayer Leverkusen will allow Lucas Alario to leave the Bundesliga side for a reported €6.5m but the Argentine wishes to remain in Europe and doesn’t want to move back to South America just yet. Union Berlin have also confirmed that Timo Baumgartl will remain at the club on loan from PSV for another season whilst Julian Nagelsmann will give Gabriel Vidović an opportunity in pre-season before deciding on the Croatian’s future.
