Erling Haaland to have €150m exit clause in Manchester City contract

Bild report today that Erling Haaland has a release clause of €150m in his Manchester City contract.

The Norwegian forward will join the Premier League club from Borussia Dortmund after they triggered his release clause of around €60m. Although not yet official, Haaland’s contract will last until 2027.

Per the report, the clause could be included to manufacturer a move to Real Madrid, valid from 2024.

Haaland arrived at Borussia Dortmund with a huge reputation but leaves as the 2020 Golden Boy and a DFB Pokal title. The 21-year-old will play his final game for Borussia Dortmund against Hertha Berlin this weekend, looking to add to his 85 goals in all competitions.
