Erling Haaland questionable as Westfalenstadion returns to full capacity

Speaking to reporters ahead of Borussia Dortmund’s Bundesliga fixture against RB Leipzig on Saturday evening, head coach Marco Rose provides an update on Erling Haaland and playing in a sold out Westfalenstadion.

“Erling is very questionable for Saturday,” said Rose. “We have all seen the pictures but we’ll see tomorrow when we know more. His foot took a hard hit and the ankle is very swollen.”

Jude Bellingham will also play in a sold-out Westfalenstadion since his move from Birmingham City. Rose added: “This can give us a real boost. It’ll be football as we love it once again. Jude has not yet played in front of a full stadium in Dortmund. It will give us all a lot. But we also need to use it in our favour.”

Six points behind leaders Bayern Munich, this is a must win game to keep their title hopes alive whilst it’s an equally important game for RB Leipzig, who are fighting for a Champions League spot.
