The German Football Association (DFB) are investigating comments made by Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kerem Demirbay following their 2-0 win against Wolfsburg.
After being shown a yellow card by referee Felix Brych, Demirbay told ARD: “The referee really gets on my nerves. It’s crazy. I hope he doesn’t whistle for us as often in the future.”
The control committee at the DFB have since opened an investigation because of his comments towards Brych. Demirbay must submit a statement and then a decision will be made.
