Borussia Dortmund plan to extend contract of Mahmoud Dahoud

According to Sport1, Borussia Dortmund want to extend the contract of 26-year-old midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud beyond 2023 with talks expecting to take place after the season ends.

Per Patrick Berger, BVB agree that their cooperation with Dahoud should continue after an impressive season under Marco Rose as his No. 8. The Bundesliga side are also expected to sign a defensive-midfielder in the summer with Axel Witsel leaving the club when his contract expires.

Dahoud has played 20 Bundesliga games this season, scoring two and creating four.
